Caring for the Cats 😸

Click and hold a cat to discover their name and how they're feeling.

Every cat has 6 needs:

• Happiness
• Cleanliness
• Toilet
• Tiredness
• Thirst
• Hunger

Your cats are smart and will self regulate these needs by using the items you have in your shelter. You can move these about as much as you like by clicking and dragging.

However, you can also enhance your cats needs by playing minigames with them!

Drag and drop the following tools onto a cat to begin the minigame!

	Treats to feed the cat - improving hunger
	A ball of yarn to play with the cat - improving happiness
	A brush to brush the cat - improving cleanliness
	You can also drag the cat into the sink to wash it - improving cleanliness

  

Maintaining the Shelter 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

In the shelter, the cats have lots of toys and tools to keep them happy and healthy.

It is your job as the owner to make sure these toys and tools are kept in working order.

You must refill the water and food bowls to ensure that they do not empty, otherwise the cats will not be happy, and will meow at you to remind you to do your job.

  

Finding Cats' Forever Homes 🏡

We know you've grown to love the cats you've been caring for but now you have to let them go. 

Occasionally, a new person will come in and want to adopt a cat. Click and hold on him to find out what colour cat he wants.

Simply click and drag a cat to the adopter to give the cat the gift of a happy home.

But be sure to give the adopter the colour he requested, or he won't be happy!

  

Designing Your Shelter 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨

All items in the shelter can be moved around. Just click and hold the left mouse button.

Play around and make the shelter unique to you. We'd love to see your designs, so please do screenshot them and send them in a comment! 

 If you want to reset the positions of all items, just press 'R'.
